This cookie policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on our website, what they do, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our privacy policy, which explains how we process personal data more generally.
1. Who we are

Company registration number: 32559735.

2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to our marketing website at robopack.com, to our interactive demo at sandbox.robopack.com, and to the forms we host with Zoho Forms at forms.zohopublic.eu. The demo shares the website’s cookie choice, so you are only asked once.
We do not track you inside the Robopack application at app.robopack.com. The application does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or any third-party tracking. It communicates only with our own servers.
One point worth explaining: the cookies described below are set at the robopack.com domain, which means your browser will also send them when you visit app.robopack.com. They are not set, read or used by the application – they are simply stored for the domain as a whole. If you go straight to the application without visiting our website, or if you decline cookies, they are never set at all.
3. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to give the site owner information about how the site is used. Some cookies are set by us; others are set by third parties whose services we use.
We also use local storage, which works in a comparable way but is not sent back to a server with each request. Where this policy refers to cookies, it covers local storage too. The tables below state which is which.
4. Your choices
When you first visit our website you are asked whether you accept cookies for analytics and advertising. Until you accept, none of these are set and no analytics or advertising data is collected.
If you decline, the website works exactly as normal – you simply will not be included in our traffic statistics or advertising measurement.
You can change your choice at any time by reopening the cookie settings. You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time.
5. The cookies we use
5.1. Strictly necessary
These are needed for the website to function and for us to respect your choices. They are always active and do not require consent. They are set by us, not by any third party, and are not used to track you.
This check uses a third-party IP-lookup service, ipapi.co, to determine your country from your IP address. No cookie is set by this service, the result is cached only in your browser, and it is not shared with any advertising or analytics tool. ipapi.co retains the underlying request in its server logs for a limited period (typically two to six months, always under a year) before automatic deletion.
5.2. Analytics
These help us understand how visitors use our website and demo – which pages are visited, how long people stay, where visitors arrive from, and where they get stuck. We use this to improve the site. They are only set if you accept.
About Microsoft Clarity. If you accept, Microsoft Clarity records how you interact with our website and demo – where you click, how far you scroll, how the mouse moves and which pages you visit – and shows it to us as session recordings and heatmaps. We use it to find where pages are unclear or broken. Anything you type into a field is masked and never collected. Clarity runs only on robopack.com and sandbox.robopack.com, and never on our forms at forms.zohopublic.eu. If you decline, Clarity is not loaded at all. Microsoft describes how it handles this data in its privacy statement.
5.3. Advertising
These let us measure whether our advertising works – for example, whether someone who clicked one of our ads later requested a trial. They are only set if you accept.
We use Google Tag Manager to manage these scripts. Google Tag Manager does not itself set cookies or collect personal data; it controls when the tools above are loaded, and it is what enforces your cookie choice.
5.4. Forms
Our trial, demo, quote, agreement and free licence forms are hosted by Zoho Forms at forms.zohopublic.eu. One strictly necessary cookie is set there so that the form works correctly. It does not require consent and is not used to track you.
Our forms are on a different domain to our website, so the cookies described in sections 5.2 and 5.3 are not sent to forms.zohopublic.eu and cannot be read there.
Instead, when you click a link from our website to one of our forms, any campaign details from your visit are added to the form’s web address. They are submitted with the form and stored alongside your enquiry in our CRM system, which is what allows us to see which advertising leads to a completed request.
Where those details come from depends on your cookie choice. If you arrive by clicking one of our ads, they are read from the address of the page you land on and passed along when you click through to a form. This happens whether or not you accept cookies, because it involves only reading the address of a page you are already on and stores nothing on your device. If you accepted cookies, the same details are also kept in the rp_attr cookie, so we can still recognise the campaign if you browse to other pages first or come back on a later visit. If you declined cookies, nothing is stored and that longer-term recognition does not happen.
6. Third parties and international transfers
The providers named above process data on our behalf. The legal basis for the processing, and how we handle transfers outside the EU/EEA are set out in our privacy policy.
The IP-lookup service referenced in section 5.1, ipapi.co, is operated by Kloudend, Inc., based in the United States. Where this involves transferring your IP address outside the EU/EEA, it relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as its transfer safeguard.
7. Controlling cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block them entirely. Blocking all cookies may affect how some websites work, though our website will continue to function normally. You can find instructions in your browser’s help pages.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the tools we use. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
9. Questions
If you have any questions about our use of cookies, contact us at [email protected].
